New Home of Golf Hub Brings Fresh Visitor Experience to the Heart of St Andrews

Representatives from Welcome to Fife recently had the opportunity to visit the new Home of Golf Hub on Market Street in St Andrews, following an invitation from St Andrews Links Trust to see the facility ahead of its opening.

Housed within an impressive 19th-century building in the heart of the town, the new venue represents far more than a traditional retail space. Designed as an immersive visitor experience, the Home of Golf Hub combines retail, storytelling, exhibitions, events and visitor information under one roof, creating a new gateway for visitors exploring the Home of Golf.

From the moment visitors step through the doors, the attention to detail is clear. The carefully designed layout makes full use of the building's historic character while incorporating modern technology and interactive displays. Large digital screens throughout the building showcase inspiring content, helping to bring the story of golf and the wider destination to life.

The new hub also features a dedicated Welcome to Fife information point, ensuring visitors can easily discover the wealth of attractions, experiences, events and businesses across the region during their stay.

There is also a symbolic link with the building's past. Many visitors will remember the property as the former home of the VisitScotland Information Centre, making the presence of visitor information and destination promotion within the building a fitting continuation of its role in welcoming people to St Andrews and Fife.
