Help Shape the Future of Cruise Tourism in Edinburgh & South East Scotland!
As cruise passenger numbers to our region continue to grow, Edinburgh & South East Scotland boasts five key ports—Leith, Rosyth, Newhaven, South Queensferry, and Eyemouth. These vital hubs serve both transit and turnaround passengers, offering significant opportunities for economic, cultural, and environmental benefits across our communities.
To maximise these benefits, we're creating a Regional Cruise Passenger Management Plan. The aim being to ensure that the influx of cruise passengers contributes positively to the region’s economy, environment, culture and local communities. Its about managing and enhancing the visitor experience, not growing cruise ship numbers to the region.
Your insights are crucial! Share how cruise tourism affects your business and help us improve the visitor experience.
