Scotland Loves Local Week
The first Scotland Loves Local Week takes place from 28 August to 3 September – and you can get involved.
The week will shine a spotlight on the people and places where hard work and innovation is delivering projects which will make our towns and communities fit for the future.
Councils, community organisations, Business Improvement Districts and individual enterprises are being urged to organise – and take part in – activities in their area.
The week is organised by Scotland’s Towns Partnership (STP), the organisation behind the Love Local campaign. It will champion the Scotland Loves Local message, putting localism at the heart of a stronger, fairer future for Scotland’s towns.
It offers the opportunity to highlight the critical importance of people getting behind businesses in their area, supporting the jobs and livelihoods of their neighbours, friends, and family.
Downloadable assets are available to promote the #ScotlandLovesLocal and #ChooseLocal messaging, along with promotional materials which can be edited for your area.
