Levenmouth Marketing Campaign Exceeds Targets

Early in 2024 Welcome to Fife worked with 83 agency on a consumer marketing campaign to attract visitors to Levenmouth for the launch of the new railway line.
Background to the Campaign
A multi-channel consumer marketing campaign to specifically promote the Levenmouth area of Fife as a great destination for day trips and overnight breaks. The campaign would lead with #LoveLevenmouth
messaging and seek to:
- Promote the Levenmouth area of Fife to potential visitors
- Highlight the reopening of the Levenmouth Rail Link in June 2024
- Enhance Levenmouth’s tourism potential
- Drive visits to welcometofife.com/levenmouth landing page
- Inspire people to visit Levenmouth and facilitate the sustainable growth of the tourism sector in the area
Overall Campaign Results
- All campaign objectives were met and exceeded
- Paid social ad campaign delivered exceptional results and was a very costeffective way to promote Levenmouth to a targeted audience in Scotland
- Influencer activity produced inspirational content that attracted a high level of engagement online
- The Scotsman delivered a huge number of social posts (60) to promote the campaign video and online article and delivered 5,300 reels played and 425 minutes of video played
- The Scotsman also dedicated the front cover of their Travel Supplement to Levenmouth in addition to a DPS article
