Do you have innovative ideas to combat the climate emergency in your community?

Introducing Community Climate Grants!

The team at Fife Climate Hub are thrilled to announce we have teamed up with Climate Action Fife to develop a fantastic grants package to boost climate action in Fife.

Community groups and organisations can apply for funding of up to £1500 to help tackle the climate emergency thanks to a partnership between Fife Climate Hub and Climate Action Fife. Small Grants Fund, which has been running for two years, offers groups up to £500 to run climate-related events. While Seed and Development Grants is a new funding pot and offers up to £1,000 for climate-related activities and projects.

Groups can apply for both grants and the deadline for both is Sunday 22 October 2023.

Community groups or organisations based in, and working in, Fife. Your group needs to be constituted and not-for-profit, Your group needs to have your own bank accounts or partner with organisations that do. Examples include community councils, church groups, botanic gardens, sports groups and more. If you're not sure your project, event or activity fits then why not come along to our information event?

An online information event on will be held on Tuesday 19 September for groups interested in applying.

This event offers a chance to find out everything about applying for a Community Climate Grant. It will be followed by a Q&A for groups to seek guidance on their applications. Sign up for this on Eventbrite.

Fife Climate Festival

Recipients of the grants are invited to take part in an exciting new event. Fife Climate Hub is hosting Fife Climate Festival from 24 February to 3 March 2024. Grant recipients are encouraged to use all or some of their funding to organise activities during the festival that celebrates the range of climate activity in Fife.

Support is also available for those who apply.

The deadline for applications for funding is Sunday 22 October. Projects should be delivered by 3 March 2024.
