THRIVE Fundamentals - Food and Drink Training Programme
- Are you a budding food & drink or rural entrepreneur?
- Do you want to improve your business skills and product development knowledge?
- Do you want to network with other entrepreneurs in Scotland’s food & drink and rural sector?
The THRIVE programme is for the next generation of entrepreneurs in Scotland's food & drink and rural sector. Participants will gain essential business skills and food science knowledge to support their business idea. Whether your idea is a new product, service or a food & drink related rural diversification, this programme could benefit you.
Sessions are delivered by industry experts at SAC Consulting/SRUC and the Scottish Centre for Food Development and Innovation/QMU.
Programme is open to Scottish;
- SMEs food and drink businesses
- students and graduates
- entrepreneurs who have a product or service idea
A Certificate of Attendance is provided for attending THRIVE sessions.
A combination of webinars and interactive in person workshop will be delivered in September 2025.

- Wednesday 10th September - Building Your Unique Proposition
- Saturday 13t September - Product Development Workshop
We would highly recommend attending all sessions but it is not compulsory. Please note sessions will NOT be recorded, material will be sent after each event.
