Scotland's Refreshed National Events Strategy 2024-2035

Scotland’s National Events Strategy 2024-2035 aims to build on the events industry’s many achievements to date.  The strategy refresh has been shaped by the Scottish Government, Event Scotland Events Directorate, Scotland’s Events Industry Advisory Group (EIAG), Local Authorities, COSLA, Trade Union representatives, and those who responded to the consultation process.

Delivery of the events strategy’s vision is centred on three critical interconnecting strands: Developing Events, Developing the Industry and Developing Scotland.

Scotland’s events industry is a global leader delivering world-class events that provide socio-economic benefits. The refreshed strategy was developed following extensive consultation and provides the necessary focus to drive forward our collective ambitions.
