Complete the Scottish Tourism Alliance’s latest Industry Survey (May-June 2023) now
The Scottish Tourism Alliance’s (STA) latest industry survey is looking to capture the current business environment that the tourism and hospitality industry is operating in ahead of the summer visitor season commencing. The survey, which includes members’ views on business performance and confidence, the labour market, and future trading outlook, can be completed here.
The findings will be used to inform the newly created New Deal for Business Group, which is co-chaired by the Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Fair Work and Energy, Neil Gray MSP, and Dr Poonam Malik, Head of Investments at the University of Strathclyde.
Your answers will also provide an important evidence base that we can use to update the new Minister for Small Business, Trade and Innovation, Richard Lochhead MSP.
Although this survey focuses mainly on devolved matters, the STA continues to lobby the UK Government on reserved issues such as lowering VAT, duty free shopping, prioritisation of levelling-up funding, and more energy support for businesses.
All survey data will be treated confidentially. The results will be used to inform government, shared with members, and for media publicity.
There are 23 questions to answer and it is estimated to take no more than 15 minutes to complete. The survey closes at 5pm Wednesday 14th June 2023.
We encourage hospitality and tourism businesses of all types and sizes to complete the survey here.
